I was a teenager in the late 80s and very early 90s....and I had given up on the current music scene and discovered prog rock from the 70s.

Then as now I was probably listening to Genesis, Floyd, yes...with a bit of Queen and The Police. Still got all my records and still listen to them

Chams or Socials

I still have my teenage "ghetto blaster" on my bedroom floor & all my vinyl (& some of my dads - but shush!!) under my bed!!

Embarrassingly the 1st vinyl singles I had were Kylie & Jason & Angry Anderson

Switching to cassette I still have now 1-20!!

I do have the ex's Guns n' Roses album on vinyl with the original banned cover. I should give it him back as I believe it's worth a bob or two

I inherited lots of vinyl from my dad. Pink floyd, Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Elvis Costello, etc ... Quite an eclectic collection. I do have a turntable but it needs a new stylus.

Mainly because of the bulk I moved my vinyls on along with the player, which Was a silver coloured plastic pye, with two clamp on speakers, and manual turntable and volume controls 1980 circa, played the 4 tops albums, beach boy albums, motown, feargal sharkey, michael jackson, madonna, war of the worlds, along with others, thou I wish I still had some single vinyls From the family from the 60,s mainly pye ones, in their jackets, gene pitney, adam faith, jerry and the pacemakers, elvis presley and others I can,t remember,I wish I had them now to go through, a collector would always buy them..

To be honest the same music is still blasting out of my record player.
