yeah talk about shit luck...

my own fault clearly. 1st one i could only have been doing 32 tops as the camera flashed me and even my mum who was next to me looked at my dashboard and said 'what the fuck'

and the 2nd one was because i was over taking on a dual carriage way..

Least im back in Devon now and didnt get any high winds or rain on the way home

Though some how managed to go through £21 worth of electricity when i was away

Not just them your insurance company will to for the next 5 years. It's not cheating the system it's survival and it's there system

It was on the approach to Toll Bar roundabout (or kamakazi island as i like to call it).. remember it being a 50 zone due to roadworks and i sped up to overtake .. but yes i was doing more than 50 but not by much i dont think as everyone else was doing similar speeds

I got done twice in one day and that took me to 12 points. 6 month ban and a £375 fine.

it was amongst the worst 6 months of my life. Bloody nightmare but my own fault.

I agree that it's survival. Got to fight these things or you won't gave a licence left. The road rules and punishment are so bureaucratic it's silly at times.

He right. I got hit twice close together, the fines and the points were bad enough but the resulting jump in the insurance price, just as I went on mat leave, priced me off the road. I've only been driving again a few months now all the points are over 5 yrs old. If there is a way to avoid it, then do. Just learn to be more careful. X

Just a thought but...If you appeal and lose, you can actually receive a higher fine and points.

I tried all the dodges for years, nothing works, I tried the "legal" appeals, sometimes they work sometimes they don't!

Then I learnt patience, its actually easier than the above tactics and not as boring as you'd imagine.

OUCH!!

I only just had my 3 points taken off my lisence too

Not recieved the letters yet.. they might just be warnings (im hoping) as i genuinely wasnt excessively speeding so curious what the camera has me down at doing
