Personally I think NYE is one big anti climax, haven't bothered with it since the millennium and even that was crap, so, not going out, having a few drinks in the house and will probably be in bed by 11, so are you in or out?

Normally I work but getting home at like 4 am isn't much fun and too tiring a shift now so I choose not to work it and lose out on the bonus (which is taxable lol). I shall be lazing at home, watching tv and having an early night as got work tomorrow anyway

Well I HAD plans to go out tonight but now it's pissing down and don't really want to go out in it.

There always seems to be so much pressure to enjoy yourself on NYE, then the chimes come and go really quickly *ding* and then there's no longer a focus or a goal to the night other than to drink shitloads and start a scrap.

Oh we will have fun but it will be well before midnight as I'm not a night person
