I've waited all year for Star Wars and it surpassed my expectations! Honourable mentions to Age of Ultron, Ant-Man, Jurassic World, SPECTRE and Mad Max: Fury Road though

Tough one. Furious 7 has a lot of sentimental value to me, but I know it's a pretty rubbish film lol.

I'd go with Star Wars.

I would have to say The revenant.

The fact it's based on true events just seems unreal!

The best film I've watched all year that's new to me is Scrooge. No shadow of a doubt. Star wars had too many references to older episodes and felt like a reboot, it was good, just felt refurbished. Imitation game was awesome and I could relate to the awkwardness, if not the personable disposition.

I feel like I have missed out on some movies... maybe I should have title the thread 'MUST SEE MOVIES OF 2015' lol.

I really enjoyed Star Wars, I'm not really a big fan of it either.

Of course I love comic book movies too, but I do think Ultron let me down... Marvel need to sort out the villians in their movies, they really are begining to bore me just a little, so one dimensional.

'99 Homes' was also a pretty damn good movie, i found that to be quite inspirational in some ways and I believe a lot of people will be able to connect with it .

So far for me it's Avengers Age of Ultron. However I've not seen Star Wars yet going to see it at the weekend.

One that quite surprised me was Suffragette. A fantastic film, and amazing acting.

I also thoroughly enjoyed Crimson Peak. Nothing to do with Hiddles in a frock coat, honest *cough*

Turbo kid. Best film of the past few years, let alone 2015

The Martian is a close second, and undecided on Landmine goes click.

Really. I'd have to agree with the review I heard for that last one.

"Possibly the second worst thing to happen to Japanese culture this century"

Turbo kid was criminally underrated.

I'd probably go with a couple: Mad Max, Ex Machina, Dope, Macbeth, Beasts of No Nation, Brooklyn, What We Do In The Shadows, Montage of Heck.

Star wars was also really great.
