Wish they had something on round here we could all go to, like fireworks display, or some kind of show, even someone dressed in a clown suit standing on his head would do.

I remember as a kids we'd go to a social club and they'd have random acts on throughout the night and then fireworks at 12. My kids are only little and I reckon they'd be fed up and causing havoc before 12 and asking to go home, but I've not seen anything advertised anywhere for kids to go to, rarely see social clubs these days either

Yeah all the social clubs round here have been knocked down and replaced with housing.

Aw sounds good that does, not sure what we did at news years as kids because i can't remember.

that's a really good idea that. i'm pinching that, will even send the kids to the shop to buy anything they want for a party haha.

mine are all teens or almost that age and are awake at 5am every night these days...

have to disagree. NYE has always been better for me in the south. TV is better down there. We get the white heather club stuff that makes my skin crawl.
