Snapping up a Bargain , what have you bought ?

Hello Fabbers, Friends and Forumites

I hope you all had the most marvellous Christmas, and that most of you are enjoying a jolly well-earned break. It’s that sort of grey area time, in-between Christmas and New Year. The lost sort of time where days seem to merge into one and the calendar goes out of the window. The only worry being, what day do the bin men come? Hope the last of the turkey has been eaten.

Pooch and I have been enjoying our festive shenanigans, lots of walks and eating splendidly rich food. I fear that we both will need to exercise heaps more in the New Year. Though we have been bashed and biffed about in the winds and rain. We don’t seem to mind much, Pooch things it’s all very British and rather bracing.

We did pop down to our local clothing emporia, and indulged in the sales. Along with new shirts and jeans I myself bought a rather snazzy ty sports jacket and waistcoat. I even found matching trousers. It completed the country gent look. Pooch says I look like something of shortbread tin.

So chums our question to you this windy day is

Have you been sales shopping?

What did you Buy?

We ventured to biscester village outlet, was a big mistake total chaos, had to park about 10 miles away then get a bus after waiting a hour , eventually got there and had to queue to get in each shop. Really wasn't worth it but I got yet another handbag. And got a Ralph Loren shirt for the child reduced from £75 down to £20

I didn't leave the house!"

If I need something I shop online. I'm not a crowds person and the last time I went shopping someone stole my purse.

I can't stand the shops on a normal day, so no chance I will venture out when they have the sales! That said I did go to Tesco yesterday to grab a few basic bits and they had some of the food items knocked down, but previous to the "sale" they were on offer for a BOGOF or 2 for £8 etc, so seeing them yesterday I didn't think it was much of a sale.

The only shop I really like is Hobbycraft. I could spend a lot of money in there.
