This might be a boring subject for some. But I wanted to ask...what is the best diet have people tried and it worked for them. Abviously after Xmas we all ate more than we should. I find it hard to find a decent diet. Any help will do please. Thank you

less cake, more exercise. Sounds facetious but it's true!

I would ask your GP if they have a dietician. There are so many crooks and deluded self appointed experts out there. Your aim is to be healthier, not to damage your self.

This.

It's exactly what I'm going to do.

And I'm doing the Moonwalk in June so I have something to achieve.

Try getting in to a habit of eating 3 meals a day no snacks and a naughty treat in the evening

Sexercise?

Depends how quick you want to lose it, but I agree , exercise is the key

However if I want to shed a few pounds quickly I use the three day Military diet

It actually shrinks your stomach too, so eating less fills you more

Cereal with fruit in mornings, a light lunch, then chicken or any fresh meat grilled with salad for evening meal. No snacking though ( unless it's snacking on salad)

Not really - if all you want to do is lose weight, all you need to do is create a caloric deficit somehow. Food quality etc does not matter.

Spot on..

But I'd make it..

Eat right, move more!

It's more about what you eat than how much.

I lost 17st 2lb on it so I know it works!!

I agree it's not complicated. Use more than you put in.

General principles cut out carbs especially sugar, so cut out bread potatoes pasta rice etc eat veg and proteins.

Walk everywhere and move about a lot lift things and get your heart beating faster regularly

MIDDLESBROUGH

Check out scoobys workshop on YouTube and Google search it's free has loads of tips and advice

But the bottom line is try not to think of it as a diet more as a lifestyle change, these mad drink aloe Vera gels and soups diets might shift some weight short term buts it not maintainable, try to find something you enjoy doing, walking, running, swimming etc and cut out the obvious naughty foods mid week and maybe have a cheat day on a weekend, fat loss is hard work but it will be worth it try to remember what your working towards

Best of luck
