Best phone networks

Ok I have had Vodafone and am still with 02 which runs out next month, I don't seem to get a good reception with either, When I was working in London last year if I went anywhere near the building I was working in (over 1000 people worked there) I signal died but people I worked with had no problem, They had Vodafone at the time, Also when I go the match everyone around me seems to be using their internet at halftime I couldn't get a signal with Vodafone or my 02

I probably will stick with 02 but will see what they offer me to stay,

Northwest iPhone 5s user and will more then likely go to the 6 next,

How good is your signal/internet coverage where you live ?

Tesco are good and they are 02. 4 phones in our house so them.

If you did, there's a limited amount of "connections" allowed and apparently some people just lose out. Vodafone are especially bad for this. EE better. It may not matter which provider you go with, the same could still happen.

If you didn't work there, then this won't apply.

No it wasn't actually in London, Just outside the M25 But coming down from the North it might as well have been

high phone density areas at the moment are best served with 4G. But it's a numbers game, if the majority go 4G then 3g may clear and be better. All networks will have plenty of signal in London or any city, but signal can only carry so much traffic so lots of users can overload it. So rather weirdly an unpopular network may be the best for you.

Over the years I've been with O2,Vodafone and EE with just a few odd little nigglesbut in all honesty I can't claim any real major problems.

But the best network I've been with and still am with is Tesco Mobile.

The coverage is fantastic as its basically rebadged O2 and the customer service is fantastic both on the helplines and in the phone shops. They couldn't be anymore helpful and are much more keen to please and resolve problems than a any other phone network.. More like when you take something back to the store and I find they just sort it cos really they don't give a toss about chiselling you like the carphone warehouse "water damage" merchants.

I've been on a 30 day rolling 4g at £10 for five years and I'm really loath to ever give it up or change it as I'll never get such a good deal again.

Anytime they have said they'll do something within 24 hrs such as a sim change for 4g switchover etc it's mostly within about 20-30 mins or an hour on a bad day.

Top geezers in my book!!

Sorry ignore me then. I have a similar problem at my office and both Apple and Vodafone agreed that was the reason why.

Im with Three sim only.. unlimited texts and Data 2500 mins and unlimited 3 to 3 talk .. with tethering so i can run my computer and ipad from it. also the cover abroad now is terrific.. all for £12 a month.

Virgin is EE I believe in terms of the network used.

I'm with EE and coverage was poor at home but the auto wifi call system works great.

All depends where you use it most I guess not much to choose really

I have a friend who was with them for his mobile and said that the "unlimited" data was actually set at 2tb!!

Unbelievable.. I could probably run both my PCs downloading round the clock for a couple of weeks on that.

The signal strength was pretty good too and received well in areas where my vodafone work wasnt doing so great.

Ive worked with three and they are a faceless evil crap hole

Try a prepay sim card from another network where you are most likely to need the service. And avoid 2 years contracts, so you're not locked down to an underperforming network. 12 month or 1 month long rolling sim only deals are good for this.

Use cash back sites to get some cash for signing up to a new contract too.

Id also check that my phone was working ok, if I'd got worse service than others.

Good smartphones don't all need huge investments. The Windows phones are great, for example.
