Beards

I'm not sure I have been clean shaven much more than twice in the last 5 years - probably longer. I know that beards have become popular and 'Hipster' in the last 18 months. What's the ladies perception on it? There seems to be a marmite effect with some women loving them and others loathing? I've got a beard, tattoos and a couple of piercings so I know my 'look' puts many off but I thought I'd get a general overview.

You answered yourself there. Some love, some hate.

It must be quite popular. I see a lot of alternative guys who want to show how unique they are growing beards and getting sleeves done.

Beards are so passé. Why not be different and shave say the left side of your face only, then you can appeal to all women.

All my tattoos are custom and carry personal meaning.

Central

I think beards lost their time some time ago. But people should live and style as they wish, not due to trends and pressure.

A guys smooth face works well for me, with less skin irritation

Would that time be the viking era, or more recent? Rourke's drift possibly

I used to like facial hair but I have gone right off it now with this latest trend. A lot of the men where I work are young and have full thick long beards. It's like working with a load of gnomes. Give me a clean shaven fella any day now.
