The lack of grace and elegance wearing dresses that heavy makes them look like they have shit themselves when they walk

What I don't really get is that they have such strict views on certain things and are quite religious yet they go out dressed the way they dress...

And what is that 'grabbing' thing all about?!

I saw that...the girl is 15 and she herself said she wasn't comfortable with it.

...and her friend walked away and left her there...it's assault. nice that the crew filmed it for prosperity though eh.....and pixelated his face!

Wow.

Just saw the last half hour.

But those girls could shake their booty, no question.

And at the risk of oppobrium from the laydees, I'm not sure that 'grabbing' was any worse than most girls will have had to endure at a teen disco.

(not condoning or defending, just saying)

Yeah but to be fair, they get married at 16 so she's technically not allowed to drink legally!

but why have it as a legitimate part of "courtship" - why cant they ask for a kiss and risk a yes or no like everyone else? x

culture, perhaps. but that girl was 15 and she asked him more than once to stop.

the law still stands regardless of heritage....and for adults to stand by and watch a child to have to be put in that position for the sake of ratings and then protect HIS identity.....

theres a man in aberdeen on the sex register for pinching a girls bottom in a nightclub...aggravated assault.

this is worse in my opinion as she was a minor. toy might think i'm over-egging the situation, but all i am doing is interpreting the law and as i understand it, it is also illegal to watch a crime and not report it?

The difference with the Gypsy girls and their culture is they know that the 'elders' will tell them just to deal with it, as a sort of right of passage.

It's probably seen as the boys duty to try for a 'grab' and the girls duty to ward off the 'grabber' and keep herslef pure for a later day i.e her wedding.

And given that we belive the girls to be 'virgo intcato' on their wedding day, it would be hard to argue it doesnt work.

My guess would be it's one of these things which is steeped in history and tradition, but seen in the cold light of day (or tv screen) in our modern, westernised, sanitised culture, it's viewed in a different way.

Gypsies also have their own laws and codes of conduct and I would have thought that they would be pretty well adhered to for fear of being outcast

Yeah, like 'thou shall not pay tax' - break that rule and they get torn apart by four donkeys tied to their arms and legs.

It takes me a while to really open up to someone, y'know. I don't just talk complete shit to total stranger all the time, I have to get to know them properly first.

Talking is good.

Let it out, don't hold on to it, it'll eat you up.

You're doing great.

No, this is really good stuff.

It will never go any further than a run on the bikes.

But you have to accept that playing cards in the spokes do make a noise.

And some people like that noise.

It doesnt makes them cunts.

It just means they like something a little different to what you like.

If you can learn to accept that, we'll see about maybe leaving the compound for some fresh air.

Under supervision.

Obviously.

I was a member of the Coolsville Red Hot Biker Gang and it was certain death if you:

a) put playing cards in your spokes

b) was heard of putting playing cards in your spokes

c) was suspected of putting playing cards in your spokes

d) even thought of putting playing cards in your spokes

... but if the playing cards were topless girls c.1973 (and why did they all seem to have bright pink bodies and bright red nipples in those days?), anyway, topless playing cards in your spokes was allowed, but only after everyone had seen them cos everybody knows that they don't last long on a 6 mile hike. (I only ever got the ginger ones back though. Strange that.)

Topless girls circa 1973?

They DID have different nipples didnt they?

AND different shaped breasts.

Much more 'lollopy'.

A crime? Come on! This was no worse than kids do to each other in the playground. He didn't sexually assault her. He pushed her against a wall. My son was kicked in the playground my his friend yesterday, should I report that?

In the UK a person can legally drink alcohol from age 5 - you have to be 18 to purchase it.
