I think the clappers just before the bell has outlived its usefulness.

Does anyone know otherwise?

Just before the bell that signals the end of rounds, you hear a clapping noise that is supposed to signal that the end of the round is imminent.

I think the clapper signals ten seconds to the end of a round so would be useful to the referee regards to a fighter who gets knocked down in that space if time. Just a thought.
