when i watch television, i get sick of the same brain numbing adverts, i know when they are due as a small square appears at top right hand corner, if someone made a device to spot this and stopped the sound and had a blank screen i would buy one. but these stupid adverts pay the tv companys

I almost never watch live TV. I record the things I want to see and then fast forward through the ads.

I'd invent a dog poo alarm that sounds a massive hooter when people don't pick up after their pooches!

They have just Google for 'cell phone jammer'; illegal in the uk

Not sure myself why they don't have them in prisons to block smuggled phones.

I'd love to have been a fly on the wall when all the great inventions were made. Unless of course that invention was Fly Spray.

I'd invent the plastic stuff that you get on food packages that had the useful feature of coming off in one piece when you started peeling the corner off... I seem to be able to just peel the edges off and leaving the food sealed inside!!

Half of the stuff you guys are after already exists out there!

Adverts - As DG says - record and fast forward. I did read about someone making a box to remove the adverts, but don't think it got very far.

Trainer painters exist MikeC81 - they're called fabric pens!

Mobile signal interrupters existed a while back. Defo in Japan anyway. Am sure I read about them being installed in "high class" restaurants to keep the restaurants nice and quiet.

PS - I'm a professional inventor - hit me up with ideas, you may see them in 3-4 years lol
