I've read a lot of posts lately with people saying they are leaving.

Got me wondering..

I personally have been on and off between relationships for four years now. If anything, Mr and I are meeting less and less for play and more and more socially ... more time is spent on the life we have outside of fabs and outside of the scene .... plus we have lots of friends through clubs. The forums keep me here now .... and the occasional new person we meet through messages. I don't see anything on fab as keeping us kink.

looking for a long time partner though, so unless someone is up for being my constant kinky love god, i wont be meeting off of here for swinging purposes for the foreseeable future.

Swinging is just too vanilla and not intimate enough for me, at this time.

I've genuinely thought about this a few times meet some one and want to stop the swinging and settle down but fuck it's hard I have to much fun and life's to short to plod along in the back ground

A lot of people just throw there toys out the Pram coz it's not the insta-shag place like they thought it was. I saw it again yesterday.. Noticed someone had rejoined and after 5 hours was whinging giving it...'this place is crap'... You prob saw it too giving were in the same area lol

I get fed up... Or something will happen in my vanilla life that makes me go..I can do without this shit...and hide my profile like now.

But I don't think I will be leaving over it. I like the forum and have learnt a lot over the years from various threads and stuff. There is a lot of support without people realising.

Well i understand the frustration some peeps feel because meets are so hard to come by (more so for males) so its easy to say fuck it i'm off its much easier to go to town and meet someone. However for couples its a different thing because you just cant walk into a pub go up to a couple and ask em if they fancy a 4 some lol. The problem as always is peoples expectations of what the site has to offer are too high! Ladies, young couples and couples looking for males will always meet lots of people. Single more mature males will always struggle to get meets because the good young will always beat the good old en!!! So yes for some with the rude people and time wasters (not everyone i may add)on here perhaps for some the value for money is to say i am leaving. Merry Christmas folks mwah.

We had a blip a week or so ago .

Over the past month we got a bit bored of it all .

As most of you know , we are all about the meeting and playing . Not into the socialising and so on .

Anyway , we decided to have a bit of a break and see how we felt . Ten days into the break and we decided to change things round a bit . Look for something different , and so changed our profile and likes to its current format . Time will tell if it works .

But one thing we do know is that we will always be swingers in one way or another . We have deleted our account twice in the four and a half years since we started . Seems pointless to delete it again as we know we will inevitably rejoin later !

I'm well aware people leave and rejoin for one thing or another. I've left the site and rejoined over the years but still gone to clubs. I was more aiming to get a point of people's ages... I mean would you wait until your in a retirement home to give up. There's a couple in my area well into their 70s that swing in a club and they are lovely and have fun. Just makes me wonder if I'll be the same

Only thing that would make me leave is if I got a boyfriend but even then I'd like to stay for the forums. Don't know if a new boyfriend would understand that I could only use this place for the forum so if he wanted me off here I'd leave and hope that my memory lived on in everyone's hearts!

They do... i think there are lots who want to but can't and they're the ones who post the agressive cynical posts when people say they're going. Some are very genuine in it not looking for attention as so say. They've had fun or not and are moving on. I'm going shortly and genuinely have not intention of rejoining. I've met a few friends , have a few regulars and neither of them are using fab either. There comes that time for everyone.

Yes there is that problem here. Though I know whatIi wanted and searched hard and got bruised here to get it. They were looking the same trust and intimacy thing that I was looking for without the commitment of a full relationship.

I wouldn't care where I met him but if it was on here he'd either have to delete his account or just use it for the forums and he would have to block all messages and I'd have to have access to his account to make sure he wasn't speaking intimately to anyone else. Well 'we' left here around three weeks ago for the 'simple' life, we've given up swinging but missed the forums far too much, so came back as one, certainly no plans to meet anyone (well maybe one but that's for a social catch up)
