I got myself a ps3 for Christmas. I set it up the other day to make sure it was working. 15 hours later I was thinking "fuck I need to go to work in an hour"

I'm looking forward, albeit with trepidation, to making my mums wedding cake.

When I have all of the food shopping and food done and dusted. Then it's relax, relax, relax. Some nice wine and food.

Hearing my kids tiptoe into my room with their stockings seeing their faces when they open their pressies. Sitting down all together for dinner. Playing games. Going for a long walk in the woods late afternoon.

I could go on but I won't....

Have a great Christmas x

Xmas eve is my favourite day. Try to make sure that all the house work and veg/food prep is done early doors so we can just concentrate on being Christmassy. We go up to the local church for the children's crib service, then home for tea and to get Santas tray ready with his mince pie for him and carrot for Rudolph. Then get the kids to bed and wait for them to fall asleep so that we can do stockings and presents under the tree. I love seeing the excitement building in them, as I can still remember what that was like when I was a kid. We track Santa on norad so we always know where he is and use it as a must be in bed deadline...
