Blimey its a dark old morning here in gods country.

Pooch and I are up early and had a quick wander.

Following on from the Jonesing for Jones thread

Definitely. Was just attempting to motivate myself to go and pop the kettle on. A nice snuggle would be the cherry on the cake.

And it's another cold, grey day in Snowdonia...

Coffee - I need coffee to wake me up...

... 'cos there's sod all else to get up for in the morning... apart from the sheep in the garden, and they're no use to me...

Never mind - two more days and it's the Solstice, when the sun (if it ever appears!) will hide behind the shoulder of the mountain for just one day, and then start it's journey back to glorious summer...

Can't wait!!!

We were in bed late last night (3am) so all 3 of us still here : me, the OH and the pooch in the middle - he's still snoring. The only dog I know that doesn't do mornings !

I'm up on the flanks of Elidir, and each summer I watch the sunsets traverse the horizon beyond Anglesey and Ireland...

Can't wait for the sunshine to come back, so that I can wander up and sunbathe on the mountain!

I've promised myself a walk up the Carneddau next summer, at least as far as Melynllyn and Dulyn - I once spent the night on C Llewllyn and watched a glorious sunrise over the North coast...

some of my most favourite places to walk with Pooch. we sit on Conwy mountain or nant y gamer and watch the sun set
