A previous poster was asking about dental dams and condoms for oral? This lead onto an active discussion.

I would like to see a better level of risk discussion and information as the way they have scared the bay jayzus out of us about deadly infections etc, I am curious as to why we are not all dead bearing in mind the life style choice we have taken.

Brighton - even Hove!

Because the oral risk is lower and people take precautions.

As I've been on here a while now this subject pops up every now and then.

For my two pennorth, I go to my local gum clinic and get checked out every 3 months or so including throat swabs.

Although I always have safe penetrative sex, I don't like to use condoms for oral and there is still a significant risk of infection but it is somewhat lesser than for intercourse.
