I think this is his first time actually.......

I knew what you meant though. I lost a great friend at the end of December this year and another last week. There's no good time to go, but Christmas seems so much more cruel.

Met him as a kid when played for Fulham elite u12s (development team) years ago. Very nice man always made an effort to watch the development teams when he was at Fulham.
