"Sharks finn soup in australia in 1988 Have you seen how shark fins are harvested? No i havnt" "Shark finning refers to the removal and retention of shark fins while the remainder of the shark is discarded in the ocean. Sharks returned to the ocean without their fins are often still alive; unable to move effectively, they sink to the bottom of the ocean and die of suffocation or are eaten by other predators." Sad

"How come its ok to eat tuna but not a dolphin?" People think Dolphins are closer in intelligence to us than tuna? But then it doesn't stop us eating pigs, so that's a shit excuse. Lol. I've eaten scorpion, cicada larvae, baby sparrows, cicada adults, sea cucumber, sea urchin, jellyfish, fuckton of different flowers lol. But I'm Chinese, they eat all kinds of shit over there. And before anyone asks, I was offered dog, about 10 years ago. Turned it down. Just couldn't.

"How come its ok to eat tuna but not a dolphin? Marine mammals are protected. Why? They both have feelings, feel pain, its wrong " Cos it's to protect the species from extinction. I'm sure if fish were at similar risk, the same would be introduced.

"hmmm difficult one, i have travelled a fair bit, okay here goes... Dogs Lungs Guinea Pig Brain Masala Snake (actually, I quite liked that, sorry) Salo Vodka Porridge (don't ask) I think I have probably eaten everything that could be thrown in a pan and not climb back out again... Before the animal rights people crucify me, most of the time I was eating in small villages where people shared what little they had, its rude to refuse" Don't see why the animal rights people would crucify you for any of that - its just as 'cruel' to eat any animal, doesn't really matter what species it is, does it?

"How come its ok to eat tuna but not a dolphin? Marine mammals are protected. Why? They both have feelings, feel pain, its wrong True So glad im veggie" Bad news for you, plants feel pain too. Some whitecoats did experiments on plants and discovered they react to stimulus. Bang goes your idea of not inflicting pain on any living creature. don't believe me, google it

It's that simple. I cook a mean roast beef or pork though.

Sharks returned to the ocean without their fins are often still alive; unable to move effectively, they sink to the bottom of the ocean and die of suffocation or are eaten by other predators." Sad " Spot on. Never could figure out why they waste the entire shark. I used to do a lot of business in Cape Town docks many years ago, one yard had 100's of lines strung up with 1000's of fins hung up to dry, was the first time I heard about the wastage. The Far East seem to have a nasty taste for bits of animals, tiger testicles, bear gall stones, rhino horn, shark fin, monkey brains. I'm not against hunting, but to kill an animal for such a tiny part of it and then to discard the rest like rubbish is way off base.
