"depending on your renovation work, it could still be work dust settling. When we moved into our new build (my wee boy and me, no pets) we were dusting for weeks to get rid of it all. It settled after a couple of months." Oh really? Haven't thought of that, finished construction a few months ago. It's strange as we don't remember dusting so much in our old crappy flat xx

"We moved in the late September, I think we finally stopped having to dust daily about december, and then just normal from about the end of January. New plasterboard is very dusty apparently, especially if its a whole house!" Yeah about the same time as you actually. No plaster board, but every ceiling and wall plastered and painted x

"It'll just be the work dust settling - I moved a couple of years ago now, but did find it stressful with all the dust. Its really fine powdery stuff and annoying. Best tip I was given was damp dusting to gather as much as possible up. I used either a damp cloth or baby wipes." Yeah could be. The ceilings are brilliant white and the walls are soft white (cream), every room. And the dust is white, it's not dirty at all, we dust like everyday

"Yup, sounds familiar. I was also advised not to hoover daily - make it every other day as it kicks up less dust and you can start to catch up! lol" So when will it end? Xx

"For anyone wondering search lath and plaster dust on google images to get an idea of how ridiculous it is " I'm a plasterer, took lath and plaster ceilings down before plasterboarding them, end up looking like you've done a stint down the coal pit.
