So been on 2 weeks roughly and no joy what a surprise not.. yet some people have barely been on here a day!! And have arranged a meet already lol. Used sites like this before an never had trouble meeting people. Is just me or is it getting harder to meet genuine down to earth people on these sites?

It can be hard to get started, yes, but overall I don't think finding meets is that difficult if you are flexible and you put in the effort. So, no, we aren't finding that it is a waste of time.

You didn't ask for a profile review, so I will refrain, but I hope you find what you are looking for.

If the ones meeting after a day are women then why would that surprise you given men greatly outnumber women on here. 2 weeks is nothing for a single guy wanting to meet women took me 3 months to get my first meet. Be prepared to make an effort and have some patience, this is not instashag dot com.

15 a day? That smacks of desperation. I send messages to those I think might return them. Very few of them are wanna-meet messages. Build up a rapport first and sow the seeds in their mind 'this bloke is actually interesting - hmm, maybe I should meet him sometime'...

When I first joined the site I went with the send loads of messages out approach and got nowhere.

After I'd taken a break for a few months I changed my approach, now I only message someone 'new' once in a blue moon if I really like the look of them.

And you know what? I'm much more successful at getting conversations and meets now I message new people once in a while than when I was banging out 15 a day!

Make sure you really want to meet and talk to THAT person (and make that show in a personalised message to THEM) rather than just anyone and hopefully your 'luck' will change - good luck fella!
