Britain is going to space

Tomorrow tim peak will travel to space from kazakstan, it is the first time ever an astronaut from Britain will travel there, he will spend 6 month in space, the best advice given is to make sure to get to look out the window. The earth would be a good view from there, breath-taking.

What would you do on earth as your last day? I would have a pizza with my family and a movie night in

Tim Peake is the first British astronaut to go up as British government-funded through ESA. Helen Sharnan was funded by the Soviet Union and a group of British companies, Michael Foale went up as part of NASA.

Nice one and yes, so it was right as it is funded by the British government.

No two people have yet been confirmed to have had sex in space.

Something to aim for...?

They can't find the funding for the NHS, yet they can find the money to eject Great Britain into space?

Wait, are they sending us in the tardis?

Anyway, being less of an idiot, I'd dress as ET and spend the whole day having a party with all the people I know and can get hold of so I can tell people I'm going home

According to the papers he is the first British person. Apparently the others had duel nationality or a non British parent. Not sure if that includes the people that privately funded their own trip...

You know the papers, they will put a spin on it to suit the headline they want to print...

I'm glad there wasn't a clerical error with his ticket and he did end up with the ISS and not with ISIS.
