It's so lovely that people still do all these things

I've made my Christmas cards. And Apple Cinnamon candles to go with my apple things.

I have a wonderful apple tree and my best friend and I spent 2 whole days making apple jam, chutneys, a sauce and apple & blackberry gin.

We can't possibly guess which is likely to go down best

I'd recommend you melt down scented candles if you can, as my wax doesn't smell particularly nice, and fragrance is a nice part of a candle, especially if it's a gift

Last year was my first Christmas in the UK and I kept seeing mince pies everywhere. I thought it sounded disgusting because I figured there must be mince meat in them.

It was strange finding out mince pies don't have mince in them. They still taste bloody gross though.

I haven't tried it, though I know you can buy specially made scent blocks for wax, though they look like they might change the colour.

Why not experiment with a small amount and see how it goes?
