I'm enjoying the peace and quiet and a nice mug of coffee before the rest of the house wakes up and shatters the moment.

No peace & quiet here. I've got some sounds on playing through ma monitor, finally got round to buying an audio lead to connect it to ma PC. Sounds a bit tinny, but it saves me turning the amp on and waking up the entire block

Still can here a pin drop here. Just the sound of the fish tank filter, the groaning of the fridge freezer and intermittent click of the central heating water pipes as they expand and contract.

Oh and the creek of my son's bed as he moves in it......I really must get round to fixing that!!!

I've been up for about four hours. It's been peaceful and I've been experimenting on the exact level of grind I need with my coffee beans to get the best results.

Just about nailed it for the espresso machine and the percolator.

I live in the city centre and it's so quiet, I'm afraid to look out of the window in case there's a Triffid or two.

Mines with cream, thanks.

I can highly recommend the Fincas Los Altos blend. Very expensive but an outstanding taste.
