Upskirt Picture Perv in Boots chemist.

hiding from cock pics.

A man was spotted on CCTV taking upskirt pictures of ladies in Boots while crouching down on the floor without their knowledge.

If you saw this happening to you what will be the correct response? I would like to kick him over and if possible confiscate his phone and give it to the police but I'm not sure if that's legal.

What can you do before he escapes?

Although I don't condone violence I think violence would be the perfect solution in this instance. Kick him in the throat and insert the phone up his arse while he gasps for breath!...

Get your phone, take pictures of him and his face.

Report to police.

...I wouldn't advocate kicking him, but 'accidentally knocking him over' is entirely different. Difficult to confiscate his phone as that may be interpreted as theft - unless you gave it straight to the police.

^ this. Do anything violent to him you'll be prosecuted and likely end up with a criminal record. 2 wrongs don't make a right.

I would perform an RKO.

Wasn't someone on here boasting about doing something similar the other day to two girls in leggings? Albeit he didn't take upskirts.

Report to a Boots staff member and the police, they will have him on CCTV and whilst they may not catch him they can circulate his picture around shops or even put it in the local paper

I don't agree with violence either but I know I would be so angry and also I wouldn't want him to get away.

Plus I would want to cause a disturbance so I would probably shout so other people took notice.

If I saw him doing it to somebody else I would probably take pictures or video for evidence, just in case there CCTV had missed it, as I ran up to alert her.

You can make citizens arrests you know. I'd restrain him on the floor and remove his phone and get staff to call the police.

Central

Is it illegal? In the USA there have been tons who've been allowed to go on their way, as they're in a free public place.

I've had something similar done and I was livid.

the 1967 criminal law act that allows the use of reasonable force to prevent a crime.

this ones free but I'll have to charge for legal advice in the future.

"Is it illegal?."

I believe that it is classified as outraging public decency (or some similar wording). Voyeurism is also illegal, but I'm not sure if this could be described as that

Citizens arrest quite simple, he can then be restrained untill the law arrives.

Taking photos in public is not illegal, however he is on private property, has he Boots written permision to photograph on their property, i doubt it.

The photos are also of a vouyeuristic nature with out the 'models' consent so pretty sure (as a photographer) he is breaking the law.
