Just seen that "build your own" Aston Martin ad, the one where you buy a magazine which has parts, and you build a mini replica of Bonds famous Aston Martin.

I quite fancied that, seeing as the finished car wheighs 20 lbs and is a fair old size, until I realised how much it would cost.

The mag is £7 a month, and its comes in 85 parts, meaning the model will cost you just shy of £600!!!

Reminds me of some model my dad said he would get for me from a mag when I was a nipper, I think we bought about 7 issues before we got bored and gave up.!!

some will buy it for selling the completed model on ebay and as it is james bond i wouldnt be surprised if an american bidder payed a fortune for it.

I always wonder who buys this sort of thing? It must take patience to collect pieces over 18 months.
