I've supported her recently bit by yesterday I'd have had her out, just to save Brett. But he was poorer yesterday than earlier, saying some stupid things.

So glad Brett showed himself off so well in the Fired show.

As for the winner, some will depend on how much dish Sugar thinks he's going to make from their business idea.

Totally. He's basically got a half arsed business that's achieved and sold next to nothing - despite his claims of it being the no 1 for something or ever. He's a posher Arthur Daley who's too full of himself.

I wonder if they deliberately get some of these on, so that they can be unmasked as liars etc at the end of the show, should they get that far.

An intelligent application and screening process would out the trash long before it got to being a show contestant.

Anyone else impressed with Linda, the new addition to Sugar's interviewing team? Spot on, I thought - I liked her approach and comments.

Joseph should win out of the two of them.

The dating app is a pretty stupid concept - no-one will keep answering questions, waiting for a photo to be revealed: they will want it instantly. Without that they are just one of the many dating apps/sites/organisations out there.

Joseph's team isn't perhaps as strong as Vana's, so hope that doesn't let him down!!

Considering both of their business plans it's not so much a case of a winner or loser for me, it's more of a show of; how much balls does sugar have?

There's virtually no risk for going with Joseph; in my opinion he's bound to make a profit albeit slowly, - yet with the yank there's far more profit to be made but at the risk of 250k, which is sfa to sugar, - so the question remains; how much balls does sugar have?????

"Go Vana you go girl!

She does have a good front, and could be a great partner in many ways.

But she's also determinedly blind to what she doesn't want to see.

A dating app is very tough - partly due to the very big players out there who would do anything to use their muscle to never let you get an edge into their market place. I just see it as a huge black hole that would suck Sugar's cash away, never to return much, if anything. Her expertise could potentially have had something brighter and better, but if it's that opportunity, I wouldn't invest.

Jo is insufficiently business wise imo, to really fly in the big business league straight off - he could definitely get there...

The best person is Joseph - he will learn, he is bright enough to achieve stuff, whilst under Sugar's wing - but he probably wants someone who will do this more or less alone.

I think Vana totally missed the brief -

it wasn't for a company that would just need continuous money injections, once the £250,000 was fully spent.

She tried to plug her idea on it being her intuition that it was needed: there was no real substance to it, other than her thoughts. No research really. She can go away and borrow the money herself, if she's so good.

I despised her early in the show, as she was objectionable in the way that she worked with other team members.

He should be renamed Lord Chicken Sugar for that choice considering that 250k means nothing to him, - maybe Lord Tight Arse Chicken Sugar would be more appropriate?

Thankfully I only waisted a few hours of my life watching it, - but many have spent far more!!

Never again for me; - if I'd known that at the end, & after all of that over dramatisation, a plumped up businessman would go for the non risk option, I wouldn't have bothered!

What a waste!

I think you are being quite harsh and a little unfair. £250k is a lot of money and he went with what he felt good with. Vana could end up being worth a fortune or bust within 6 months. He felt more comfortable with Joseph and that guy will benefit massively from the investment.

We may not be typical daters, though I'm curious if anyone thought Vanas idea would have interested them?

I noticed Joseph changed his business idea substantially, based on last week's feedback - not a franchise concept anymore.

I think Sugar bought Joseph as a person rather than Vana who didn't listen. The investment is always 250k. It was great that she believed in it but she would have to put a much stronger business case for it, were she going to a board requesting money.

I laughed at her speech when she said she's worked in the market for 2 years and so completely knows the market. BS does she.

Joseph was always going to win once he made it through to the final five. His story is what won it rather than his business idea.

Sugar likes a redemption story and the production crew hit gold with a former bad boy who turned himself around after reading Sugar's book.

Vanna never once tackled how she would monetise the dating app. I would expect to see some sort of fee structure in her presentation but she couldn't do that because we all want free dating sites.

My gut feel is that serious dating and the shag meet market apps will need to satisfy people's needs to see prospective partners photos quickly. Never after a delay whilst a photo is developed, during the time a user is playing a gam! Maybe years ago but not anymore. People are used to seeing a lot of photos from tons of people and taking snap decisions on whether they find the person attractive.

So an app that screens personality and lets you do final filtering by photo - but not a slow gradual reveal of one pic. I could be wrong, I'm biased after several years of fab use, albeit fabs not primarily a dating site.
