Are peeps put off on someones profile if the pics look too professional?

If too professional, i.e. obvious studio make-over stuff then yes.

But if just good pictures, i.e. good resolution, focus, tidy background, then no. There are probably a lot of couples with a good'ish camera and when lighting is right you can get pretty good pictures.

What does put me off is profiles, claiming to be in the UK, but everything in the background points towards being abroad. In short a danger sign of a fake profile.

It can sometimes be seen as a sign of a fake profile, especially if the people are "model" types.

And because I've said that, I don't mean that all swingers should be fat and minging either

There is a track record on here and other sites of fake profiles using downloaded model pics.

I think its a hard one I have a male friend on here whos photos kept getting deleted cause he said were too professional,I did have to point out thats not the case, you have a watermark on them not from this site and you have others in the picture so thats why fab have rejected them.

I would prefer to see a nice clear pic then a grainy one anyday.

My pics were taken by an amateur photographer and I am very pleased with them.

I have more lumps and bumps than the M6 motorway, but whats the point of trying to disguise, the minute you see me you going to know I'm no supermodel

I think it also depends on the rest of the profile as a whole

Its nice to see good pics but its also nice to see a few natural face pics, theres lots of fabulous pics on here but if you're suspiscious that some are fake then report the profile

cam to cam is a good way of making sure the pics belong to the profile holder if you think they're a bit too professional to be real people

Or simply a holiday snapshot - lets face it this is the only time some people have their cameras out ...

I laugh at the number of men who just seem to drop their pants in the toilet take a pic with their mobile phone to show their erection. Nothing very attractive about a pair of pants around the ankles and a toilet bowl on show. These types definitly need professional help.

I disagree with your last paragraph, we go on holiday quite alot and have some holiday photos on our public and private gallery. I like too have a few photos of us when we are tanned and relaxed.

Never thought of this as being percieved as a fake profile as location is clearly stated on profiles anyway.

I guess the solution for people who don't want to put off people, is to mix the saucy with perhaps one or two snap-shot pictures.

Really should get the tripod and self timer out to do some more pictures.

Sea is too cold to do a James Bond walking out of the surf shot at present.

"Are peeps put off on someones profile if the pics look too professional? "

Absolutely. I know we all have digital cameras these days but I much prefer the (metaphorical) grainy Polaroid of the slightly lumpy next door neighbor/readers wife shots. Real sex with real people is what FAB represents to us.

Your profile has a mixture of photo's - which helps to tell (me at least) you appear to be real people.

Holiday photo's nothing wrong with them at all, it is when that is all you see, and obviously from the same set, and give aways all over the place.

I would not allow pics of me taken on a meet not being funny but where do these pics end up? I know someone on here that sells pics to porn sites of their meets.

I so agree with your post.I think as a lumpy bumpy human myself one of the biggest joys of discovering this site was the pics of other women. Lets face it most of us never get to see any other intimate pics of the body unless its through the airbrushed medium of magazine and film. It was a relief to see people really in the flesh...

I have another curiousity concerning other womens 'bits' but I don't think I am ready to post that thread yet... perhaps all the armchair psychologists will see this as really a cry for help... it is lol! Or its maybe less dramatic.. perhaps encourage them to approach me so I can kinda open up..

Professional photographs wouldn't put me off per se, i'd just wonder about the vanity of a man who felt the need to have professional posing shots up of himself.

I like natural, relaxed poses. I also like the surprise of the men being more gorgeous in the flesh than they are in their photos.

Well, the majority anyway!

No amount of air brushing or soft focusing can disguise a turd pet, so no need for my Mr Sheen as I wouldn't be going there!

We have a really good digital camera and think some our pictures are quite good and up to date,

(you might not lol) The only thing we do is cut and crop to make them right size to add them to our profile, mostly taken at home and mostly of Mrs T lol, we have taken a fair few with other couples but they will never be added to profile photos we just keep them to remember a very good night or not a good night having said that would class most of the a brilliant night. also we wouldn’t mind having some taken professional

I wasn’t the one standing on a soap box preaching and accusing others of fraud. I just think its rich you talking bollocks when you had a fake picture on your profile when you first came on here. You can deflect all you want but you HAD a fake cock picture on your profile. It didn’t really concern me until you said “why do people do this? its very dishonest and in my fraud”. I just dislike bullshit so pulling you up on it.

We both like realistic looking photo's. Grainy pictures leave us with a question mark over our heads as do the airbrushed looking pics as there is room left for us to ask "is that what he/she really looks like?".

Nope, they don't put us off. Badly taken pics do as you can't see what the person/people looks like.

Too many people seem to actively look for things on peoples profile to accuse them of being fakes. No wonder so many complain of no meets - they probably discount half the genuine ones as fakes.

We have a couple of studio pics, a couple of film stills and some snaps taken by pros or ourselves.

The pics that do put us off are the out of focus, badly taken ones or those that aren't even the right way up.

Theres no excuse for bad pics these days with digital cameras.

I love messing about with my camera, and experimenting with lighting and focus etc. They arent professional, ie; not taken in a studio and they are taken with my own fair hand, with a self timer. Professional pics wouldnt put me off as such, but theres something about seeing a pic of someone in their own bedroom

That's what I do too... I like black and white pics... they hide a multitude of sins!

Your pics are fab... I think I need more imagination and some new ones at some point but I prefer doing them myself. There are a million photos taken to get one or two that I like.

I'd love to have professional ones done but I'll never be that comfortable with someone else doing it.

Noooo, see I thought that, but when I had my boudoir ones done, it was fine. I ended up starkers in front of a complete stranger. I had no idea it would go that far lol. It helped it was all women and a closed studio when it came to that bit.
