"Is there a specific benefit to brushing teeth with warm water ? Would you have a wash with cold water, wash pots with cold water, wash your clothes in cold water,,,,, do y your teeth x" Warm water helps dissolve the fat on pots and pans. Do you have lots of fat on your teeth. Anyway, the fact that hot water comes from a tank in my attic would put me off using it.

"Cold water as it comes from the fresh mains whereas hot can come from a tank and be full of germs. Plus it would taste odd I think?" Depends on the plumbing system. Up to recently, my wash basin was fed from the cold water tank. It is now fed directly off the mains.

It's a really good way to avoid the chlorine content (except, of course, I drink water).

"I couldn't face NOT rinsing and keeping grotty, gritty toothpaste in my mouth. Yuk!It'd feel like having a shower, using gel and leaving the cubicle all covered in bubbles." Dentists recommend it as leaving the toothpaste on carries on helping teeth. However I think its more important for sensitive teeth.
