Im surprised by the lack of replies I get from when I give out a genuine compliment on here , a no nonsence compliment , not looking to meet compliment .... But I do wanna say thankyou to the females and couples that do reply . Makes my day when someone replies to me ....so I'll keep giving out the compliments and hope that I get replies

I get told i look like peoples sisters a fair bit. Not sure that's the best chat up line tbh...and nowhere on my profile do i mention i am into taboo.

Anyway OP, we get compliments all the time and just presume they're an excuse for us to start talking to you out of politeness. Some will say thanks though, as you've found out already.

Sometimes saying thank you to a compliment seems to be read at the other end as yes I'll fuck you immediately and then that causes all sorts of unwanted problems

It's nice to get compliments! But realistically, ladies with a bit of nouse on here (and in real life) know that guys will say whatever it takes to get what they want. So compliments become a little bit empty. Don't wish to sound bitter about it though- if I want to get into someone's pants, I will totally play along with it with them!

I tend to take compliments on here with a pinch of salt, too many copy / paste ones doing the rounds.

If I feel the compliment is meant & is specific to me then I would reply with a 'thank you'.

I always say thanks when someone messages with a compliment. Do I believe that every compliment is real and specific to me? No. But I still appreciate the sentiment.

Some people try to follow up with a chat up line, but a lot don't. I am often surprised that the number of guys who don't try it on after complimenting me. And its easy for me to then say no thanks if they do.

If I get a reply that just says thankyou I normally reply with just a thanks for replying , and if they then reply to that then yeah start up a conversation if they dont , no problems least they've already replied xx

I always reply with a thank you, and try to return a compliment too.

If they message back suggesting more, it's a simple 'no thank you' if their profile doesn't match ours but I try not to be rude.
