Has anybody else been asked for a "gift" by someone in return for a meet? Just think it's a bit off for that to happen.

"No.

Oh no doubt just found it a bit desperate the other person asking for a gift and actually has a list ie expensive perfumes etc and I do believe cash gifts are also acceptable

No. And I've had offers of gifts, which I find a bit sad because I feel like some men have been conditioned that they will only get a meet if they offer to bring something. That isn't what this is all about.

I've had someone say that I should bring a bottle as he's paying for the room.

I've seen someone ask for bottles of something fizzy to be brought and they don't mean lemonade.

No I'm opening them day by day.... I'd like to add I didn't ask him to get me an advent calendar in return for a shag

Never. I've been offered lots of things on here but never have or would accept. I find it embarrassing and slightly desperate

On the whole I have no major problem meeting someone seeing how things go and if another meet was in the offing perhaps bringing something nice along, but to have a pre-set lift of gifts in order to accept a meet is just wrog.

Nope but I have on occasion brought wine or food, but that's usually with someone I've met before and paying them back for eating half their fridge last time I was there

That's fair enough but I do feel the gift I was being asked for is paper and can be used in exchange for other items.

There are women out there who make a sort of a living at exchanging gifts for time spent with the giver. Wouldn't do for me but it takes all sorts.

I love receiving gifts but i'd never ask and i'd never make it a condition of a meet. A meet is for mutual benefit so acting like you're doing somebody a favour isn't really a great start! However, should a person wish to show their appreciation with a gift then i'll happily accept, just as i'd hope they would if I got them a gift.

Yes someone asked me to bring a treat and when I found out what that was I reported and blocked them.

Not a chance, this is a swinging site not a brothel. We would be happy paying for the obvious half hotel costs ect but gifts err no.

Although we have taken a bottle of wine or two to a meet but it has never been requested.

If you want 'gifts' or cash ect become a professional and do not ply your trade on fab!

To be honest if a guy's paying for the room - which would cost a hell of a lot more that a bottle of wine - then I think it's perfectly reasonable to expect the lady to take a bottle of wine!

taking a bottle (depending on the circumstances) is just common courtesy if there's no expectation. If it's expected then that's a totally different matter!

little old town of Reading!

I've been offered "gifts" - which I assume is them hinting that they would pay me for my time. I wouldn't dream of showing up to someone's house or hotel without a bottle of something nice though- mostly because I want to drink it myself though!

sometimes a small gift like a box of chocolates, a bottle of wine for instance has no other intent but to show forth a kindness, something to break the ice apon meeting........

Central

I can understand gifts being given during romantic relationships as well as at birthdays etc. But meets - not needed and if someone has a list of 'required' gifts, then they should be avoided.

Also, report any user's behaviour that is inappropriate to admin - they'll review and take action accordingly.
