Am I scary?

I was chatting online last night and I was told I was a bit scary as I come across as super confident and my veris make me seem 'hardcore'.

It kind of surprised me, I see myself as pretty laid back and just a lover of life!

Speaking as someone who is not actually a swinger, yeah I can see what they mean. But I'm a firm believer that your profile, veris etc attract the people who are right for you to meet on here so if they're put off then they may well not be someone you want to meet anyway. Scary is perhaps the wrong word though.

Just read it and if if it puts people off then they are probably not worth the meet, i.e the shy and retiring just taking their first steps out of 'soft swing' or maybe just considering meeting types. It does come across a little strong in parts but evens out across the whole and it shows humour. I wouldn't say it's scary.

I haven't chatted to you before so I have no idea how you come across.

Looking at your profile though, I would say you are all what you think you are & that you embrace the lifestyle.

I always think if people find anything remotely off putting about profile / person then they are probably not best suited.

Your profile is similar to mine, humour (well I tried to inject some into mine, if it works or not is another story!), to the point etc, like someone else said 'if they don't get it, you wouldn't want to meet them anyway!'

So what you have loads of veris, if they read your profile they would understand you've been here years and they aren't graphic not like some I have seen!!

I don't know you from Adam but I'm guessing (but could be wrong) the scary comment relates to the volume of veris and that you're properly enjoying the scene.

Everyone is different, some like to dip their toes every now and then, others like to dive head first into the scene - I'm guessing whoever you spoke to probably fits into the former camp whereas I'd say, based on the veris, you're in the latter.

Some people fear that they won't live up to the standards of previous meets (rightly or wrongly) so that might scare them off too.

I'm sure you're a lovely person in real life but I can see where they may have been coming from based on your online profile.
