What's right and wrong, left and right these days? Yeah he is old but it's not like he is going to bring the kids up is he? If it had been a normal run of the mill bloke then my

Opinion might change

I knew a couple who had a baby when she was 50 the daughter didn't want them picking her up from school when she was older cos her classmates thought they were her grandparents

He probably won't be around to see the children into adulthood but at least they will be financially secure, and who are we to judge

very true good point

I was very young when I had my first child and 29 with my second was easier with the first

He's not knocked up my daughter and if his nerves can tolerate a crying infant, all power to him.

If his wife is happy no business of mine!

Ok. I think the baby won't care and the circles it's likely to grow up in it won't be as much of an issue as it might be elsewhere. Is an old dad better than no dad? I don't know really. I think babies are born into much less fair circumstances than this though.

Fair? Fair play I say. Good man I hope I'm still around at that age never mind shagging a younger woman.

Torn on this one.. but my initial gut reaction is a negative one.

at 69 will he have the energy to keep up with a young child.. and with the average person living til 80 his child will be early into teenage life when he or she will suffer the loss of a parent. Tough emotionally on any child let alone an adolescent

but thousands of teenage kids will lose a parent when they're teens, & many won't even have known their dad or mum even, - but the vast majority won't have the privileged upbringing that this little kiddie will more than likely have.

I say good luck to them, & he's a very likable guy too!

Yer cos Katie price is a model of family values eh!!!

I think in Ronnie woods case this might be good for the child. I wonder if he will make a better dad later in life than when he was in his 20's/30's?

However it still feels a bit weird and I'd probably have a different opinion of a regular non celebrity /rich 69yr old!

I think you can add wine and young women to that mix or whisky if you like.. great guitarist.

the very mention of that woman gets my back up.

okay, I'd happily side with the complete opposite of whatever she said, - then I could hardly be far from the truth.
