My grandparents, especially at this time of year.

In Polish tradition Christmas eve was a time when the entire family would come together for a huge feast (Wigilia). It was my favourite day of the year. Sadly since they've passed and my aunts and uncles have grown into their 90's the gatherings have gotten smaller and smaller over the years and it's lost a wee bit of its sparkle (plus no one could make pierogi like my babcia).

The man in the moon ad didn't make me cry.

I don't well up at poetry written especially for me.

I think I have lost my sentimentality.

Central

I would pay not to watch contrived shite meant to pull at my heart strings. Faux candy coated vomit from a retailer who wants to manipulate me is on a par with cyanide.

Some real stories of what actual people have experienced is different. That's stuff I may shed a tear for.

dont get sentimental about xmas at all really - since the kids dad and i divorced -its lost the family thing and as we are a small but spread far and wide family it was the only time we all came together - and thats gone now - not bothered - kids are grown up and we still do our thing together on xmas eve
