been chatting with a guy for a few months now and we finally set a date to meet in a couple of weeks...just got a message from him saying "You look fantastic I hope you don't mind me approaching you out of the blue like this xx" which I thought was funny seeing as I was on his friends list and have been chatting etc,so I messaged back saying not sure how out of the blue it is as we have been talking ages

" he has now blocked me...lol...I love this site...hehehe

I think its really sad, especially as you had built up a rapport with him and were going to meet. He could have just owned up and said sorry I messaged you by mistake. You acbept meets arnt exclusive on here.

Does seem odd to block you, rather than just confess to making a mistake.

Had you by chance changed your avatar lately - as that is how I remember most people.

Mmm Southampton, a long drive for a coffee, but if it was tea and cakes with dessert too then might do. Alas working weekends to get through a whole load of stuff.
