Hair Emergency please help

Ok so I wanted my hair bright red for the weekend.

Got my hair dye from Sally services. It was loreal professional majicontrast with 1 and a half bottles 6% creme developer.

Probably due to the fact my hair was patchy before we started my hair is now multiple shades of red.

I dint have the money to go to salon to have it fixed has anyone got any useful advice what I can do to fix it.

You should of stripped your hair of the old colour first, left it a week to recover and then applied the new colour.

I've spent many an evening dying my daughters hair a rainbow of different colours. Lol xx

Hi babe.

You are probably best getting a dark brown colour to cover up the patches at least it will look more natural and you will feel much more relaxed on your night out.

It sounds like you needed to strip your hair before going for the red especially if you had differdifferent shades of blonde in your hair.

You can buy a home stripping kit from Wilko and you just put it on as you would a normal haordye but I would definitely recommend going dark babe

Get to a salon for what it's going to cost you trying to make it look something like your better leaving it to professionalS. And good gid font go buying those horrendous colour strippers as us hairdressers have to deal with the aftermath.

You can get a product called colorb4 from super drug or boots (I think that's what it's called) it should strip it out for you x

Exactly this!

My ex once upon a time used to have bright red/ pink/ purple etc hair. If a colour didn't go as intended the first step was colourb4, then bleach, then colour. Make sure you use a bleach that's 'gentle'

As a side note OP with your new piercing and coloured hair you're going to look awesome

Colour B4 is very good but oddly the standard one is better than the strong one!

It was far kinder to my hair than when an experienced hairdresser stripped it!

It's not as bad as first feared. I'm going to just wear my hair up on sat and start of next week just going to try strip it and go back to my natural colour.

Thanks for all the tips I was really panicking last night
