So, imagine the scene: You and three other couples/singles from Fab and you have to cook for them in the hope they score you 10/10.

What would you cook to impress?

Given you're all being asked to choose the food not the guests there's some odd responses.

I'd skip the starter, do fillet steak, home made chips and onion rings, with a small side salad.

Then strawberries and cream with amaretto biscuits.

The next 3 people to post can come to mine. Unless you're vegetarian, I don't have enough pots and pans to be dealing with that too...

Starter - black pudding croquettes with parsnip purée.

Main - pan fried duck with potato, leek and bacon rosti

Desert - Eve's pudding with vanilla icecream

And of course a cheese board with lots of stinky cheeses to finish!

Titz Towers, North Notts

I get selected once, then after going around for the meal, going to their neighbours by accident, getting the right door and breaking the doorbell, somehow tearing the coat hook from the wall, setting fire to the toilet (spontaneous combustion) and flooding the billiard room, I never get selected again. It's unfair.

Variety with food is great but really nothing is difficult to cook to a good standard, so many people get pretentious over food.
