Good evening Fabbers, Friends and Forumites.

Good gravy , what an evening. Had a busy old day in work . Then jolly well straight home a quick cup of cha and off out for a spiffing walkies with Pooch.

A splendid wander through the woods. The trees have finally given up all their leaves .

Whilst we were rambling it became dark quite quickly. Time for my trusty head torch. Sadly after a short time the light went out. Darn batteries.

So a good stumble later we were him . Pooch reassured me that soon the days will be getting longer again.

So chums who is looking forward to the winter solstice and lighter evenings .and what will you do with the extra hours of day light?

Taffy and Pooch

I do love knowing the days are getting longer. I don't mind winter but it makes me feel so tired. I'm already in bed.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I enjoy Yule as much as Christmas.

southend

I find myself getting emotionally drained quicker in the Winter. It's worse this year because this is the first working 12 hour shifts.

Today probably wouldn't have been so bad in the Summer, it just seemed like really hard work!

Bognor area

I prefer to celebrate the winter solstice over Christmas - the thought of being half way through winter cheers me up way more than the thought of Christmas

Well it's nice to know that in 20 days it will start getting lighter.

I seem to be in hibernation mode right now and feel like going to bed much earlier than usual! X
