Single People's Comfort?

Jump to newest

By (user no longer on site) OP

Inspi_ed by some nice threads about people having found love on here and about living with a partner, I wanted to start a thread that makes it less hard being a single, on days where you'd rather not be one.

Things you can enjoy equally whether single or not:

- Tugging in to fresh bed linen,

- The smell of of a just-mowed lawn,

Duvet wars. Wanting to punch her mother/father/fucking kids. Listening to her endless complaints about others. Enduring her visiting friends talking non stop bollocks. I only ever chose the good looking ones I wanted to shag but always the same old bollocks. How I love fresh air.

ugh... Hate the label single...

We are all born into this world single, so it has no meaning to be so...

But...

The ability to just by a plane ticket and disappear for a year or two.

To not have to pretend to be enjoying a conversation you wish was over.

To use your time to constantly train and improve your abilities.

Silence.

Those could all be flipped as reasons to enjoy being part of a couple.

But some animals are solitary... Like tigers and some need company.... Like sheep...

Things I enjoy about living on my own most of the time:

- living on my own most of the time.

- not having anyone else under my feet.

- having the freedom to do what I want, when I want.

- not having to think about what someone else wants.

- getting to shag who I want, when I want, in my own bed.

Not saying these are female viewing. Just what my ex enjoyed. Also what all the ladies I work with talk about. I admit this is a small sample.

Ive been single 15 months an i came out of a short trying marriage. An hooray my divorce was completed on November 2nd 2015. So im fully divorced. I feel now i have freedom to watch what i like, answer to know one go to bed when i want. Best of all not answer to anyone. Watch a movie with jason statham in it uninterrupted lol

an can oggle his sexy body lol without being moaned at. An i have freedom other than work i can do as i please in my home. Best of all not tied down to a guy. Marriage didnt suit me it wasnt for me i felt restricted, lost my indenity. I only got married once never again ever my first marriage at 42. I never wanted to marry its a relationship killer ir was for me an the d_eded ex monster in law sends shivers down my spine

ive got used to being single but sometimes it would be nice to have a guy to cuddle too in bed. Etc an chat too. There are some things i miss obviously. Hence i do nsa as i dont want to be tied down again (thumb

An i dont want the trappings of a relationship for quite a while
