I did this on my previous profile. Left it for years like that. It's really not necessary for a female to have a full profile, we'll still get decent men messaging for meets. Yes, it's lazy.

We haven't rewritten our profile either... Because we don't need to.... It's literally about getting photo verified... I think for us. It's very important because bastard has been on this site for a while . And has encountered many many fake profiles it's not hard to set up a profile and pretend to be who you want to be.... And think of all the perverts asking for your pics... That aren't even a couple or a female... Just some guy that can't make it as a single guy on here so has to pretend

Obviously some people may opt not to be photo verified but the OP is right - it's the easiest thing to do! Not all people that aren't photo verified are fakes. But a lot of fakes are not photo verified!

I didn't get photo verified until after I'd been here about 4 years and then I only did it cos I wanted to become a mod lol

I agree. It's pointless if you're a man because no one pretends to be a man. But I got photo verified as a woman as at least a little bit of reassurance. Of course it can be faked, but even that requires a modicum of effort that generally people setting up fake profiles can't be arsed with.

I didn't bother last time I was on fab and I was here for 4 years - done it now because I've been unable to meet for 3 months so I thought a photo verification was better than non at all - ordinarily I'd have just sorted out a meet and got verified that way.

Just saying... When you're a couple looking for a couple the bare minimum standard is photo verification.... Half the couples in our area are just men, bit we have had the odd woman get photo verified because we asked - put us right in out place!!! We are just very very very very very very very very very very very very very very sceptical about woman and couples that cannot be bothered. Two examples... An over excited female that keeps begging us for pics yet has only one on profile - but she has a verification from a man whom we believe is the one pretending to be the woman and when we ask her to get verified we get no response. And another - couple -.... Been waiting for a couple weeks for them to get photo verified blatantly obvious they're not genuine!

Fyi there's no need to be pricks about it... Obviously we expect it from the forums, troll troll troll seems to be the main ethos / goal on these forums

plenty of people on fab with enough veris of equally verified people to choose from - dont think we would ever ask someone to get photo verified - we ask for a fem to fem chat first but more to break the ice and have met unverified people -

He could tacts us on couples profile, finds out shit - we spoof him - then he messages us from his real profile - single man

I think the main reason why "people are pricks" about posts like this is they are entirely the posters experience, trying to suggest their lack of success is down to others, and by insinuation suggesting that everyone else run their profiles by the OP's "rules".

Thursday is rant day by the way. Try and hold it in till then.

I don't see anyone being a prick about it... there's really no need to name call. The site works in many ways for lots of us. It doesn't boil down to your way or the highway. Find what works for you and if that's choosing people who are photo verified, then make that choice and stop moaning about other people doing it differently.
