finish work on 11 th december and don't return until 4 th jan.......cant wait ! all that spare time on my hands !

I don't like that long break between Christmas and New Year, I'd rather have those days in the summer

They close my company for the most of Christmas so don't have use my own leave it's great

I finish mid dec with a redundancy cheque in my hand and dont go back till I get a new job

We are closed from 23rd Dec to 4th Jan, but I get to work 'on call' during that period

I still have to use the 4 days annual leave they hold back out of our annual quota though because being 'on call' doesn't equate to being in work apparently

Not quite sure how that one wirks but hey

I'm off from 23rd to 28th then again from 31st to 2nd, not ages off but time with the family and pray to god some time with someone special x

I finish the 15th and am back on the 4th - no annual leave used. Plenty of time for family, friends and fun - whoopee xx

Working right up to and including Xmas Eve, back to work on Tuesday after the Boxing Day holiday on the Monday

At least there's a weekend in the middle to make it a 4 day break and not just 2
