I love it too. Started when i had too many kids and woke up before they woke me up for a change, got a bit of peace, time to think, and a brew.

Now i've got a neighbour who enjoys having a strop in the morning, it's great not to be woken up by that too.

I don't think I've experienced true silence but there's a place in the countryside that we go to where you only hear birdsong, that's spiritual.
