What is it about the lady's on this site, you send a message for it just to be ignored or they read it and just delete it, no message back of the reason why.

They say be polite when messaging, or say they are looking for a gentleman, you send a polite and gentlemanly message and get ignored.

Read the sites FAQ. It is NOT rude to ignore a random message that someone thinks is polite.

They have the power to be picky

It's annoying for us gentlemen like but image the amount of crap they get just keep it up and be you will be right

I checked tonight and had so many messages. To take the time to say a simple no thankyou to the people you aren't interested in would take me such a long time. Time I don't have to spend on here. I deleted all my messages tonight. But I still won't be able to reply to all I get now I've added a meet. Xx

Not all ladies don't reply to messages. I reply to all messages I get off male female or couples even if it's a no thanks. so don't tar all ladies the same way.

Given that most of the ladies I know on Fab receive mountains of messages every day . It would be an impossible task replying to them all , then there are the replies to their replies.

Chaps if a lady is interested she will open and reply , you need to have patience. Just chill and relax .

If you send a message and receive no reply , just smile and move on

OP, last message I politely replied to saying thanks but no thanks for a reason that was already clear in the first line of my profile, I got called some rather uncalled for names. Not saying every guy that you politely decline will do that but I've had a few so instead of blaming the women, blame the minority of guys on here who think its acceptable to hurl abuse as they are too immature to take polite rejection.

hey you're going to have to get used to it that's how it works here ,even if you get friendly with a woman and she chats fairly regularly theirs a good chance she still may not always reply its just the sheer volume of messages

Just delete your sent mail as soon as you've sent it so you don't know what the recipient has done with it. You'll either get a reply or you won't. No point stressing about something you have no control over.

There's no need for those options though as it's already clear in the FAQ that if someone doesn't reply then it means "no thanks" ! If they are interested then they will get back to you !

Plus, as had already been mentioned, that sometimes when we reply "no thanks" we then get more messeges from the guy questioning us and therefore it's often easier to simply ignore and delete !

I don't get unwanted messages as I search for guys myself but some don't reply to me. Doesn't bother me in the slightest. Get used to it op, its life on here.

I know it can't be nice not getting a reply but the way I look at it is this:

If I send a message and the guy or girl says 'sorry not my type' that would deflate me a little, seeing those words would 'crush me' for a nano second and then I'll get over it, if it's ignored I don't have that problem, still says the same thing really but you don't actually have to see the rejection!

I sent one the other day to a guy, I felt awful for doing it and it's the first time I've done it, I won't be doing it again; it's a simple block and delete for me.
