If it worked in the reverse, Ryan Air would send people out one flip flop. Other one classed as an optional extra, with premium added...

oh would you look at that this does not seem to draw much attention so it seems in the main stream media given it was done supposedly by republican dissidents..

now had it been done by a bunch of guys screaming "allahu akbar" it would have been plastered over everywhere.....curious indeed though I do hope the injured officers recover.

but yeah I suppose I should be ashamed of myself then eh?

Or all-out in an Arnie-style minigun?

Maybe just a good ol' fashioned clip round the ear hole.

Just needs more violence.

simple really, black market trading and under ground deals, kind of like a hydra really you chop one head off more come back or close one avenue more emerge really just the way it is if one dealer is put out of commission/jailed yes it will be better but overall sooner or later more will come back..

nowhere

In the early 80s this sort of attack on the then RUC (now PSNI) happened on a nearly daily basis and the media never reported any of it on the mainland. Terrorism, which is what that was, only works if it strikes fear into the heart of the population. If the acts of terrorism are not reported then they cannot do that. I believe that there was a tacit agreement with the media that what happened in Ulster stayed in Ulster. This is probably a hangover from those days.

There's been 3 bombs and a shooting already this week in NorthernIreland. There's terrorist actions 4 or 5 times most week but it's more important to deal with terrorism abroad than in the UK. If you pretend it's gone away, maybe it will.

I know right? but then again people will always follow things which interest them more..

if some one mentions an incident in northern ireland regarding a shooting and weapons/explosives being recovered or something in republic of ireland happening people more or less just scratch their heads and don't seem to care really..

NOW if some one mentions the word ISIS everybody's attention is brought ten fold with this look on their face - .

In the late 60s the English media largely ignored terrorism in Northern Ireland. The IRA ended up spanking their bottom and killed more English than isis has. People forget very quickly it seems. Much easier to deal with a small threat than to let it grow.
