Get up to London, loads of Londis shops.

Bejams is now Iceland, chelsea girl is River Island.

Evans (fat shop) have mostly disappeared but you find them occasionally in a retail park, and the marble arch store was still going strong in July when I was late there!

Bay trading company - I worked there when I was a student. I remember getting a huge 40% off and my wardrobe consisted of the deep V's they sold as it looked cracking on my cleavage and was dirt cheap!

without a doubt how 20 years on the high street can change Along with development, every decade that goes by you can start with a little wow and end up with bigger wows The further you go back, derbys high street shops have been transformed in 40 years along with a new shopping centre well two in that time.

spar stores are a novelty when you see any Pleased they still are I can remember seeing spar shops advertised on the tv As a kid back in the late 60,s or early 70,s, the ones I last saw were in deepest norfolk back in the 90,s, Sometimes not another shop for miles in some little villages..
