Anyone else find that people just don't reply to messages?

Is there something super unattractive about my profile or something?

I'm from a pretty small island so i get it that people are nervous but im always polite and straight forward but often I notice they don't even look at my profile before deleting the message?

Any ideas folks?! Haha

I did. It's a common mistake for men to blame others. As per the OPs status. That negativity in itself will dissuade people from making contact. By asking a direct question like that, the OP will be able to see that as part of the 'all' as he describes, I'm not actually part of the problem, therefore he might decide to change his status.

Harsh reality - that's just how it is. There are a lot of guys on here and it is difficult to stand out.

I delete more messages than i read based purely on the profile pic. And if the profile pic is appealing, my next step is the actual profile. If there's nothing witty, intelligent or something to suggest we might actually get on, I move on PDQ.

The fact is this, we have the reins here, we answer the messages we want to, if your message doesn't stand out etc, we won't reply to you, some nicer ladies might take their time to reply but my view is if you get a deleted message or block then that's the female saying 'no thanks' without saying it, it's not nice I know and even as a woman I've had a fair few messages deleted and dare I say it blocked! There will be one out there but that's just the luck of the draw, your find someone it takes hard work!

Folk are making judgements all the time, advice was offered as to why your messages weren't replied to, some of the reasons have been suggested folk look at profiles or the picture and base the I'd next decision on those... Your messages are only a small part of that decision process.

Have you tried saying what you want over and over again it helps you find the things you're looking for..
