little house on the praire

Will you be venturing to the shops, I was supposed to be going to Birmingham today but going Friday instead.

I can't imagine needing or wanting anything enough to go to the black Friday sales.

What about you?

Oh God no!

I need a day to recover from the food hangover from Thanksgiving.

I hate black Friday. I didn't think it would follow us over here.

I dislike shopping at the best of times so black Friday is not for me.

Stockport

a day where people parade around one another like a bunch of wild beasts in supermarkets/retail stores then fight with one an other over discount price products which they could easily get on christmas deals or over the internet?

asda was the only supermarket with any sense to say no to doing black friday deals this year.

One thing I'm looking to buy is a new "Smart central heating programer system".

Like Hive or something similar. At £200 it's quite steep but if there is anything out there for £100 or so, will go for it.

I know what I want so it will be available on the Internet

Asda already said it wasn't partaking this year and I heard argos have dropped prices for the week not just the Friday.

Last year was embarrassing

Oooooh! Enjoy!

We'll be having a humongous dinner followed by my homemade pumpkin bread and waffles with ice cream and everything else wonderful!

Coincidentally, we are taking a short hiatus from meeting which is great because neither of us needs to feel guilty for eating as much as we can before passing out.

I put a thread up yesterday and I can't imagine wanting or needing anything so bad I'd queue or go in a shop tomorrow.
