I like mine with a drop of brandy in to cut through the sweetness. I might have a go at making my own.

Co-op ones are brandy flavoured. Not as sweet as the regular ones.

Quite easy to make and a lot healthier than shop brought unless you decide to booze it up

I know what you mean...i had The same thoughts. I was dubious to say the least but the meat is untraceable in the finished product.

I know what you mean...i had The same thoughts. I was dubious to say the least but the meat is untraceable in the finished product. "

I suppose it takes on the flavour of the rum. Still difficult to get my head around but I think the texture will be nice.

Only one way to eat a mince pie is take the lid off out Stilton cheese in, warm it up and melt it and put the lid back on
