I got accused of jumping on the geek/hipster bandwagon last time I posted on one of these threads. So I am currently embracing my nerdishness since geek is in at the moment and I would hate to be fashionable.

I am definitely not a geek.

Hate Star Wars, thought the LOTR films were boring, not interested in Marvel/DC comics, films or TV series either.

My ex bloody loves them and he is a gaming geek too and he doesn't like football.

How the hell we stayed together for 14 years is a bloody miracle

But who does the geek ask when he needs an answer?

I've heard it's the nerd.

And the nerd asks the guru?

LOTR is a hard read! Will have to pick it up again at some point

I'd recommend the sanctuary series by Robert j crane if you like those. Think the first books free xx

To me being a geek is not so much about what you have read or not read its about loving something and getting unashamedly excited about the thing you love
