Is it sad that it's the norm now in modern music for the vocals to sound like they have gone through an auto tuner? In the future could i write a few hundred pages of random words then pass it all through an auto "write a novel" app? Need anyone have talent these days? Is it prejudice to say you can't make records even though you're pretty, because you're voice sounds like a horny fox?

I dunno, they make what sells. What does that say about us? Everyone will soon profess how much they enjoy real music and vocals, but money speaks louder than words.

I think the biggest problem is how companies that own the record labels own the radio stations too. So guess whose music you're gonna be listening too.

I tend not to listen to anything after 1989, mostly early 80's stuff so I don't have to endure the modern dross.

This is not music when you program a computer for a drum beat or your voice, the soul is missing , the passion , the joy, and yes the sex is gone

There is still loads of music being made without auto tune. More often than not it's used as an effect rather than a cover up. So ifyou can clearly hear that iit's been used then it's not deceptive. It's just a production style for certain styles of pop music.
