Okay, well in all likelihood I will start this thread and then go to sleep, so apologies if I dont catch uo with it until the morning.

A few weeks ago at a club a young woman came in wearing a onesie. Myself and Mr thought this was weird not least because it reminded us of our teenagers and their attire but also, we each have one but keep them for the bedroom, behind closed doors, plus sneaking downstairs for a coffee or maybe answering the delivery man ... the hostess insisted that wearing a onesie was a sign that the person in question was sexuality liberated. Have we missed something?

Chippenham Malmesbury area

I knew someone who would wear one the university lectures after a night on the town - they insisted that there was nothing wrong with doing that; then, they got a part-time job in a supermarket and saw the people who wore them for shopping and swore never to wear one again in public.

I went to a 'fab' party once. The heating wasn't working. While we were there, two women changed into onesies.

Do I think onesies are sexy? No. But was I jealous? You fucking bet! We ended up going home cuz I was too cold

I don't own and have never worn a onesie but I do own and have worn a PVC catsuit and a fishnet bodystocking. Plus I had a body on under a pinafore dress this week. So what constitutes an actual onesie? I'm sure some people can rock the look but on me I'd look like a Teletubbie without the big round head.

I keep the teletubbie loom for the bedroom, lol, in the club this was a onesie like children wear, a cartoon animal of some sort. Totally killed the mood for us

Not sure how that makes you sexually liberated though, or even if it's not that i don't see how onesie makes you liberated either.

I have a few, hate puttig the heating on.

I have one but its firmly in the bottom drawer for two reasons: I look like an idiot in it and when you need a piss in the middle of the night you have to take the whole bloody thing off!!!

i don't have one for two reasons: I'm too tall so the arms and legs are always too short for me and you have to take the whole thing off to go pee. I fail to see how they're sexy...And if it's a symbol of sexual liberation then my local supermarket is constantly filled with deviants, I'm obviously missing a trick

I personally don't see a onesie as a sexually liberating garment but the fact that a woman felt able to wear one in that environment was sexually liberating.

I don't have one and probably never will but if I had to choose I'd go for something absurd.

Not exactly sexually enticing, but as someone who feels women shouldn't be made to dress sexily in a club I applaud her. My onesie is pale pink and I look like a hippo in it.

Onesies may not be sexy, but surely its whats insde them that makes them sexy,im usually naked underneath, and as I am large chested find it hard to do the zip all the way, so there's a good cleavege on show, plus once the zipper is fully down, im ready for action...

Onesie worn by the right person in the right private situation cam be grrrr.

However I've clocked people wearing them out & about in public and I dont mean standing in their driveway.

It wasn't grrrr, sexy to me but each to their own. I'm sure they thought it was the thing to do

I have a onesie, it's for me to wear & be cosy in when it's cold. I don't view wearing it as being liberated but I suppose if you do you probably would look good in a sack.

The only time it sees the outside is when I being a 'taxi' service to the kids in the morning.

I have onesies, and I wear them around the house. Occasionally a quick nip to the shop when I've run out of milk at 6am. But other than that, it's a no.

I personally haven't heard it's a sign of anything sexual, and neither hubs or I find them sexually appealing.

Saying that, each to their own and if the person is happy wearing it, who are we to judge

Ive worn onesies to clubs before and had far more attention because of it, i think men actually enjoyed seeing a woman not in the usual attire

Interesting responses because I dont dress to impress and don't think women should, but I don't think I would go as far as something that I wear around the house, like a dressing gown (hence I dont go to spa type clubs). I have the same issue when I see onesies and young muscular men in tight boxers, they remind me of my kids and what they wear at home, so my mojo goes. The issue is mine to get over I guess .... either that or I am getting old

Apparently its the epitome of sexual freedom .... I can see it may be more liberating that being trussed up in suspenders and stockings for the sake of men, but I am not sure. I do think Mr looks so sexy in his onesie. Its pending approval at the moment, as soon as its done, I will make it our avatar ...

I have onesies and I have been known to put one in at the end of a play - purely because they are warm, comfortable and I can't be bothered trying to get into my 'play outfit' once all the fun is done - I get to go home toasty and relaxed for bed time
